When you scan your boarding pass, we extract:
What we don't store: We do not retain the barcode image, your booking reference (PNR), frequent flyer number, seat assignment, or any other data encoded on your boarding pass beyond what's listed above. The barcode is processed in real time and discarded.
If you grant location permission, we use approximate location to enhance terminal-level matching. Location data is used in real time and is not stored long-term. Location permission is optional — the app works without it using boarding pass data alone.
We collect minimal technical data for the app to function: device type and operating system, app version, and crash logs. We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising SDKs.

We use session cookies only — the minimum required to keep you signed in while using the app. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party cookies.
Partile is a UK company, and we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you're in the EU, we also comply with the EU GDPR.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication via LinkedIn OAuth, and access controls limiting who on our team can access user data.
No system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but we're committed to industry-standard protections.
Your data may be processed on servers outside the UK or EU. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions, in compliance with UK GDPR and EU GDPR requirements.
Partile is designed for professional travellers. You must be at least 18 years old to use Partile. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If we discover that a user is under 16, we will delete their account and data immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
